This has been February.

Morning applinos;

February has been a lovely month for me, a weekend away with my bear, family time and some not so lovely moments, losing my pup. I spent February mostly smiling and wishing the weather would warm up a little (the weather man seems to have listened oh so slightly). Here's February in pictures;
New glitters | Nephew selfies | Kasper | Nephew love | God-daughter
Bear | Sorting hat | Love | Lioness | Hogwarts
Olivanders | Girls night | Pup | Sleeping nephew | So adorable
Best | Family | Bengal | Daisy Faith Mason | Snow

So this month I spent a lot of time with my little ones. Bear's nephew is the most handsome, cheeky little master and we spent time helping them move house this month and took him and his sister for a meal and a play. I also saw more of my cute-as-a-button God-daughter this month, she is the most beautiful thing ever to grace this Earth and I have so much love for her that I sometimes think it's not normal.
As you're aware I spent time in London this month with my Bear which was awesome. Harry Potter and Whipsnade Zoo and of course, some Oxford Street shopping.
I had a few girly nights with my friends including a recent trip to TGIF with my little family of girlies, it was an awesome night full of cocktails (mm, bubblegum) and possibly the biggest steak of my life, which I devoured of course.

As great as February was, I also went through one of the worst experiences of my life. After 13 years, we said goodbye to our pup, Colin (hilarious name). It was going through this that made me realise there is a difference between being upset and being sad. I was just so, sad. It was awful and I never felt an ache this big, it's like my heart is truly broken. For most of my adult life he's been there every time I've opened the front door, over-excitedly wagging his tail. He was the most beautiful, most annoying, most loving animal I have ever come across and I miss him more than I could ever tell you. I love you pup and as much as I know it was the right thing for us to do, I would give anything to spend one more day with you rolling around in dirt and then jumping on my bed, with you barking too loudly when asked if you want a biscuit, with you being too scared of bushes and pavement to be taken on a walk, with you sliding around on my wooden floor and not knowing what to do with yourself. I just love you.

So there you have it, February 2014. Another great month, mostly. 2014 is beginning to shape up nicely and I can't wait to see what March has in store for me.

How has your February been?

Favourite Folk - February Edition

It's that time of month again, my little sunflowers, it's time for my Favourite Folk! This month I've really been getting involved with the #bblogger chats on Twitter on a Sunday night and I've met a few rather lovely people who have some rather lovely blogs. So here you go;

Yes, she's back, again. I genuinely read her blog posts before I read anyone elses. This may be because she's my soulmate, but it's also because I am literally in love with her blog. We're constantly talking about what posts we're thinking of doing, discussing new blogs we've found and every time she gets a new follower, I may be ever so (very) jealous, but it makes me even more proud of her and her little Internet space.

I stumbled across this literally beautiful lady in the #bbloggers chat a few weeks ago, and I've been hooked on her blog ever since. There is one thing that drives me insane though, she looks bloody fantastic in everything. Every lipstick, every eyeshadow, every piece of clothing, every picture. Definitely slightly in love with this girl. Check her out, her blog is awesome and she's hot.

Love this blog! And her addiction to Yankee Candles makes me squirm with delight. This little lady blogs about pretty much everything, home, lifestyle, beauty of course. I always look forward to reading her posts, and I want to buy pretty much everything she posts about. I also LOVE the name she's chosen, Lemonaid Lies, who would think of that?! I love it!

I met this girl, again, during a #bbloggers chat and I've come to adore her. She's helped me with my 'eating issues' (if you've read my Motivational Monday post, you'll know what that means) and I think she's just a darling. Oh, darling. Her blog is bloody awesome and I wish she posted everyday! Such a genuine girl and she is definitely worth a read!

And there we have it, any blog recommendations for me?!

London via Instagram

Morning walnuts;

As you guys know, I spent last weekend in London. It was such a nice weekend away and we're already planning a second, longer trip. We spent Friday night snuggled up in bed with McDonalds and TV which was perfect. Saturday morning we jumped up early, went for a Spoons breakfast (gotta be done) and travelled into London for the morning to do a bit (a lot) of shopping, haul HERE. Saturday evening we ventured down to Harry Potter Studios and it was truly magical. It was also Animal Week (just my luck!) so we got to meet a few critters including a gorgeous Fang puppy (no picture, sad face). Sundays original plan was to go back into London and visit London Zoo, but after a late night, neither of us could be bothered to travel an hour on a train so we decided to drive 20 minutes down the road and give Whipsnade a try! It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, it's SO spread out, which is excellent for the animals with big enclosures, but not so good for people who decide to wear new shoes. It's safe to say, my feet were in shreds.

Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures on my camera, I'm not much a photographer, but I did give my iPhone a bashing and got some good Instagram snaps for you guys.

Spent too much | Sleeping lions | Hogwarts
Off to Whipsnade | J. K. Rowling | Too many lipsticks
Haul | Olivanders | Off to Hogwarts

What's your favourite London experience? I'd love to know!

Glossybox - February

Morning my little sunflowers;

This week has definitely been a lot more beauty based than my recent posts! I think my blog became a little bit of a lifestyle space for a while there! Nevermind, eh :) Anyway. This months Glossybox is of course, Valentine themed and actually, it's the first box in a long time, that I've loved! Well done Glossy, I won't be unsubscribing this month, which I thought I would be! Here's what I got;

Nougat London - Sparkling Body Shimmer | £14.50 for 250ml
Add radiance to your skincare regime with Sparkling Body Shimmer. This body lotion with mallow extract, vitamin E and wheatgerm enriched oil will leave your skin luxuriously perfumed with a hint of sparkle.

Okay so when I saw this, I instantly thought 'Edward Cullen', anyone else think that?! No? Just me then. I think this is going to be the one product that I won't be using. I feel like I'm 12 again, when you had those glitter moisturisers and you thought you were awesome and now you look back and thing, I just looked like a shiny twat. So, no thank you!

Eldora - Eyelashes | £3.90 (from)
Every cosmetic connoisseur will adore these simple and beautiful, high quality lashes by Eldora. Their extensive range means there's a style to suit everyone.

YES! I love Eldora lashes, but unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to try them. These look a bit too big for my eyes so I may have to cut them down a bit, but I cannot wait to try these bad boys out!

Ciate London - Paint Pot | £9.00
Do you want stunningly sophisticated looking nails? Look no further than a Ciate Paint Pot. These lovingly chosen and high performance formula's provide you with an effortless nail colour.

There's is nothing to say, except yes.

Giovanni Eco Chic Cosmetics - Chic Ultra-Sleek Range | £7.99 for full size
Giovanni Eco Chic Cosmetics is the #1 selling natural hair care brand in the US. Contains natural ingredients including Moroccan argan oils, avocado and papaya to treat and nourish your hair and scalp.

Hmm. I like the look of this, but I suffer with oily hair so I'm not sure how my hair will react to this?!

Maybelline New York - Big Eyes Mascara | £8.99
Double the drama with Maybelline's first eye-opening double mascara brush. Built with specific upper and lower lash brushes, Big Eyes Mascara produces an all-around eye-opening effect.

Again, yes! This could not have come at a better time. My mascara has just dried up and I only like to use my 'They're Real!' for best. So I cannot wait to try this out! I don't usually put mascara on my bottom lashes, is that normal?! So this should be interesting!

And something you can't see in the picture, because I ate it as soon as I opened the box, is a Lindt Lindor Treat Bar which tasted like heaven itself and I thought, I am not waiting until I can get to a good camera, I am eating this bastard now.

With 3 full sized products AND a lifestyle extra, I'm thinking this is one of Glossy's best boxes yet! I really can't wait to use the products and give them a review, that I say I will post but never do :)

What did you guys think?! Did you get something different?

The London Haul

 Morning!

As you may know, I went to London over the weekend for a nice break with the Bear. Obviously you can't go to London without taking a trip down Oxford street, so here's a look at the damage I did to my bank card :)

(The most irritating thing when the picture bar stops coming up so I can't make this large, if anyone has a solution for this, please let me know in the comments as it always happens to me!)

I've been wanting some new Vans for ages so we took a trip into Schuh and I came out with some Fred Perry's. I didn't take a picture because, I'm lazy, but they're just plain black and I love them :) They're really cute. I then decided to wear them to the zoo on Sunday, that was what some people would say, a STUPID idea as my feet were ripped to shreds, to the point of me crying in the middle of the zoo, telling Bear I couldn't go on and that he should go without me.

3 new books. That's 12 books sat on my shelf at Bear's waiting to be read now. He tried so hard to avoid letting me in Waterstones, the poor boy, but in I went, with the intention of spending no more money (it was the last shop we went in) and came out with not 1, but 3 new books.

MAKE-UP. How could I resist. So I went to Selfridges and brought two new MAC lipsticks. I wanted Snob, to replace my other that went missing :( but then I saw Saint Germain, which I have in the lip glass, and decided I liked it better. Then I saw the new RiRi AND that the whole cost of the lipstick went towards an AIDS charity so that was my justification for buying those. I also brought a purple (I have never worn purple lipstick in my life) Topshop lipstick. I've never tried their cosmetics, other than nail varnish, so we'll see if this is any good! Also from Topshop I brought a lipgloss? I think it's classed as a creme, but never mind, in Cruel. Which again, is purple. What is wrong with me?!

Also from Selfridges, I saw the Ciate flower manicure that I have been lusting after for about a month now and obviously, to Bear's dismay, I had to have it. I will be doing a review on this when I can be bothered to take the time to do my nails nicely, so keep your eyes peeled.

So nuggets, as you can see, I'm an impulse buying, I have an extremely addictive personality, lipstick, nail stuff and books, and I feel sorry for my man who's house is now full of my shit. That's what you get for letting me loose on Oxford Street! Lesson learnt, eh?!

Birchbox Delivery // 04

Good morning my little sugar nuggets;

After a weekend in London, I'm feeling positively splendid about life. The beauty boxes have arrived and this months are pretty darn good! Here goes;

So this months Birchbox is all about Love Style, inspired by London Fashion Week and I'm also thinking a slight touch of Valentines? Let's have a look at what I recieved;

Beauty Protector - Protect & Oil | £16
Exclusive launch! This nourishing hair oil battles UV rays, heat and breakage. Work 1-3 drops into damp hair, or to dry ends. Perfect for all hair types.

This is the second Beauty Protector product I have tried from Birch and I've loved both of them! I struggle with oily hair so I wasn't sure whether this would be okay for me at first, but I applied a few drops, literally 2-3 to the ends of my hair, (it smells amazing BTW) and then dried my hair. Now my ends are super soft! And feel really healthy! So I'll be using this a couple of times a week I think!

Eyeko - Skinny Liquid Eyeliner | £12
A foolproof liquid liner to help you create Alexa Chung-style feline flicks in a flash. The precision pen tip ensures a tidy line.

There was a tip card with this item, that shows you how to do the 'perfect flick' which I think looks a bit pants. But this couldn't have come at a better time. I've been desperate for a liquid liner and this looks as though it's going to be pretty good! I can't wait to try this out.

Urbanveda - Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish | £8.99
A gentle exfoliator packed with superfruits for a radiant, youthful complexion. Massage into damp, cleansed skin 2-3 times a week.

This is a very rough exfoliator! And not to be used everyday! However, it smells nice and it left my skin feeling smooth as a baby's bottom! I've only used it once, but I will be using it 2-3 times a week as it says and definitely moisturising afterwards!

Gilchrist & Soames - The London Collection Shower Gel | £13.75
A paraben-free formula with red tea, grape seed and milk thistle to refresh and hydrate skin;. Lather up in a hot shower and inhale the crisp, invigorating scent.

I actually really love the smell of this. I've used this once and it filled the bathroom with a beautiful smell that lasted ages afterwards! I love how much it lathers up and it made my skin feel so smooth! The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. I think it looks like the cheapo stuff you get when you stay in a hotel?!

Leighton Denny - Nail Colour | £11
High-performance polishes in our favourite stylish shades. Apply two even layers of colour and finish with top coat.

Everyone should know by now that I'm a nail varnish addict, so my eyes lit right up when I opened my box to this. This would look beautiful over a black base coat and I can't wait to try it out! I've never heard of this brand before but I've read some good reviews!

Green & Black's - Dark 70% Chocolate | £2.29
The highest quality organic cocoa beans, sugar and vanilla are sourced to create this delicious treat. On the sofa, at your desk, or on the move; nipple wherever, whenever!

No, ew. I hate dark chocolate with a passion. I also don't really eat any other chocolate than Cadburys, Galaxy or Lindt. This will be going to Bear.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this months box. As usual Birchbox hasn't failed to impress. Even though I don't like the chocolate, I love that they almost always put in a little extra something, usually edible, which I'm sure everyone loves!

What did you guys get this month?

Amazon Wishlist

I'm going to be honest. I'm an Amazon Addict. I currently have 97 items in my Wishlist - half these things I don't remember putting in there. I build it up, tell myself I'll buy everything and THEN add more things. But I don't. I add things, buy one thing then add 10 more things. I annoy myself. So I thought I'd share with you the random things I decide I want. These are the first 10 things on my list;

The Raw Meat Cat Food Cookbook - Currently £3.99

100 Ways for Every Girl to Look and Feel Fantastic - Currently £6.99

Superdrug Dead Sea Mud Mask

I am a Boots girl, through and through. But seeing as I work right next to a Superdrug, I have become a little more than addicted to the drugstore. I waltzed in a few weeks ago, as usual with intention of buying nothing, and came out with a horde of products. My skin has been so, so bad so I've come into the habit of buying way too many skincare saviours to keep up with. One of these, is Superdrugs own bran Dead Sea Mud Mask.

(I did have my own picture but I've lost my camera)

Hmm, where to begin with this product? First off, what do Superdrug say?

This Detoxifying Mud Mask contains ultra-purifying Dead Sea Mud, which effectively unclogs pores and draws out dirt, oil and impurities, leaving skin feeling soft and revitalised.Dermatologically approved.

So before I get on to the negatives, this does actually work. My skin after using it (I've used it 3 times in total) was baby soft and it did a good job of clearing a few spots as well. And if it wasn't for what I'm about to state, I'd recommend it hands down. But let me tell you this, my little blogger buddies, it burns. It burns like hell. I googled this problem and it seems a few other people have noticed a 'stinging sensation'. It doesn't sting. It freakin' burns. The first two times I used it, I stuck with it and eventually after around 7 minutes (so precise, I am) it began to wear off. However, on my third and final use, I genuinely thought it had burnt the top layer of my skin off.

I was in a hot bath (which more than likely didn't help the situation) and slapped in on, left it for 15 minutes as it says and as I had before, then I gently took it off with a flannel. I was then being vain and sending snap-chats to my imaginary friends when I thought.. Erm why is my face so red? I kid you not, it was like someone had painted my face, around exactly where the facemask had been. I'm known to exaggerate, but I promise I'm telling the truth! The whole truth and nothing but the truth! I was genuinely scared and thought I'd burnt my face. It took well over an hour for my face to return to normal and it was enough to put me off using this again.

So whilst the product does actually work, I won't be using it again for fear of setting my head alight. It may have just been my skin reacting badly, so don't take this as me saying it will happen to you, because it might not. At £2.59 it's a bloody bargain and I really do wish I could continue to use it.

Have you used this? Did it set your face on fire?
Let me know!

Nail Varnish Wishlist // 01

Morning;

So, you guys have probably guessed by now, that I'm addicted to nail polish. This habit is definitely not getting any better, only worse it seems. I need to go to the nail addict equivalent to AA I think. Anyhoo, I've been searching the web recently and totting up my wishlist of not-so cheap nail varnishes and here are but a handful;

Ciate 3am Girl - £9

Ciate Brocade Parade - £9

Topshop Nails in Blue on Blue - £6

Topshop Nails in Keen - £6

Essie in Sexy Divide £7.99

Butter London in Petrol - £12

Butter London in Big Smoke -£12

Motivational Monday

Aup babz;

It's Monday. We're all feeling the pain. I feel the pain everyday lately but especially on a Monday! So I thought I'd give you all a bit of motivation, carrying on with my blog positivity lately!

I recently spoke to Hannah from hbbeautyblog about her 'My Perfect Imperfections Tag' post as she spoke about putting weight on from when she used to be 'ridiculously tiny' (her words not mine!). I am really, really slim. I don't think I'm underweight but I also don't feel like I'm the right weight. I come from a slim family so it's in my genes but I also have a really poor diet and find it insanely hard to even put a pound on. So as well as being tiny, I'm constantly exhausted, I have bad skin, I'm a right grumpy bitch most of the time so I thought it was about time I sorted myself out. I've attempted this several times before and because I haven't seen a difference after a week, I've given up.

It really pisses me off when people say things like 'OMG YOU'RE SO SLIM, I WANT TO BE YOU, DO YOU EVEN EAT?! I WISH I COULD EAT ALL THAT AND NEVER PUT A POUND ON.' Uhm, no you don't lassie. I'd kill for some boobs and a bum and just some actual curves rather than looking like a twiglet. Why is there not a Weight Watchers for people that want to put weight on?! I'd be straight there! Gimme the food!

After my talk with Hannah I realised that I'm probably not going to notice a difference weight wise for months, but what I will notice is being not as tired and having more energy, maybe being a little less miserable and I think this is probably going to better than piling on the pounds. I just feel like, if I can stick to this finally, I can stick to anything! And so, I've decided to blog about it. What better than a bit of blogger motivation! And lately you guys have been so lovely and I really want to share this with you!

So the last few days I've been forcing myself out of bed (trust me, not the easiest thing on a cold, wet morning) and making sure I have breakfast every morning as a starting point. I've also started trying to drink more, I know this won't make me put weight on, duh, but it will hopefully clear my tired, spotty, dry, oily skin and make me feel less, bleugh. So those are my first two steps. Oh! And I start training for Race For Life in March, so I need to get myself healthy!

I'd really like to know whether you guys are interested in seeing my progress? Please let me know in the comments!

My Perfect Imperfections

Apparently this is quite an old tag? I don't care, I'm doing it now. I saw this over on Hannah's blog at hbbeautyblog and decided to have a crack at it. The whole idea of this is to write 3 'imperfect' things about yourself that you're unhappy with and then 3 'perfect' things that you have come to love. I think this is going to be quite difficult for me seeing as I'm usually focused on all the negative things about myself but seeing as I seem to be a different person these last few weeks, I'm going to focus on the positives!

'Imperfections'

1) My arms. Yeah, I did just say that. It's a weird one but it's a big one! I literally hate them! They're like gangly twigs that just seem to hang by my side. I don't tend to wear bracelets or bangles because it just makes them look even thinner! I very rarely wear long sleeved tops, unless it's like 123134712412 degrees outside cause I just prefer having them covered up!

2) My confidence. Still after all these years, I am seriously insecure. It's ruined several relationships, it drives Bear crazy and it drives ME crazy because I genuinely want to love myself. I'm pretty certain it's going to take years to fix my broken brain but I have been making progress and am slowly starting to find bits of myself that I like, or finding ways to improve the bits that I don't like, ect.

3) My temper. This last one was really hard because there are so many things I wish I could change! But my temper has got to be near the top of the list. I am seriously short-tempered. Another thing that drives Bear crazy. I snap so easily, I'm mardy and I hate everyone most of the time! I am however trying to work on this!

'Perfections'

1) My feet. Another weird one, but I literally think I have beautiful feet. I am not a lover of the foot but mine are just so pretty. Even before they were tattooed, I have nice, teenytiny feet with no strange lumps and bumps, no yellow toenails (yuck!). They're just generally awesome.

2) My tummy. The only other part of my body that I like. It's flat, looks pretty toned and for some reason, is ALWAYS tanned. Not quite sure how that works. But I like having my stomach on show during the summer, I like to flaunt my stuff, yano ;) Not really but, I do really like it!

3) I'm an awesome friend. This can go on either list. It sometimes is more trouble than it's worth. I can bend over backwards for someone and get jack all in return but generally, most of the time, it's so worth it. Being a good a friend as I can be, makes me feel amazing. However miserable I am, I love giving the love. I love telling people how much they mean to me, I'm a right soppy sod, but I don't think that's a bad thing!

So there we go, that wasn't as hard as I thought! I'm not going to tag anyone in particular because I think it'll be really nice if everyone has a go at this!

Please let me know if you take part in this!

Models Own HyperGel

Morning angels;

You should know by now that I'm a massive nail varnish addict. This is not an exaggeration, I must buy at least one bottle each and every time I enter a drug store. So you can imagine my delight when I read that Models Own were releasing a new set of 10 HyperGel shades. Gel polishes are fast becoming the go-to for nails, I have several of the Barry M gel polishes and get along with them quite well.

(Source - found on Google Images)

What a wonderful range of colours! I'm into my pastels at the moment but I love the red and the turquoise too! These weren't meant to be released (and aren't in stores yet) until this month but as Models Own reached 250,000 likes on Facebook they have been launched. Oh, not only have they been launched, but they are on SALE. SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE. What a dangerous yet beautiful word. Sale. You can get £25 worth of Models Own for just £12.50. What? I'm not lying. I'm definiately not. Go on, treat yourself.

I purchased Lilac Sheen, Coral Glaze, Red Lustre, Cornflower Gleam and a glitter from a previous set, Emerald City, because it's a fact that you can never have too much glitter. All this for £12.50 and it has done nothing for my addiction. Oh well.

What are your favourite shades?

Topshop Wishlist // 01

If I gave you a full Topshop Wishlist, we'd be here for at least a few hours, so I've cut it down to the basic few that I'm desperate for. I'm a massive Topshop addict and I (used to) love nothing better than getting myself in debt with my Topshop card, but house saving has taken that away from me and the card has been cut, sad face :( since then I rarely venture into Topshop to stop myself getting depressed, but after going onto their site, I have fallen in love all over again.

ITEMS

Faux Leather Biker Jacket - £60

Innocence Tartan Bow Dress by Jovonnista - £48

Liquid Liner in Black Cab - £7

Gloss Ink in Cruel - £8

Velvet Lip in Raven £10

Nails in Lead - £6

Pinkie, Midi, Thumb Ring Multipack - £12.50

Lifted Peep Toe Platform Shoes - £62

As you can see I'm going through a slight tartan/goth stage at the moment but aren't these just so beautiful?!

What's on your wishlist?

Vanity Venom

I have something slightly different for you this morning, my lovelies. I have a friend, who goes by the name of Emily, who is a-to the-mazing at creative make-up. I'm constantly looking through Instagram and Facebook just to see if she has posted any new looks, which usually she has. Her Halloween looks literally scare the shit out of me and I'm not joking.

This pretty lady has had a double page spread in Illusion magazine and has been featured by some major make-up brands. She is also getting constant 'likes' on Instagram from huge make-up mad people!

Today I wanted to show you a few of her pictures for those of you that are interested in getting involved in this kind of make-up. I can only wish that I was this creative and talented, but alas, I am not :(

These are the looks she has created on herself;

And these are the looks she has created on others;

Isn't she talented? If I do anything for Halloween this year, I know who I'm going to for my costume make-up!

I'd love you guys immensely if you checked her out; InstagramFacebookTwitter and she also has an online store HERE which is currently selling beanie hats!

She's almost at 10k likes on FaceyB, I'm sure it'd make her day if you got her to that mark! I also keep attempting to get her to create a blog of her own, so keep your eyes peeled for a Vanity Venom site!

Any questions just leave me a comment!

The Sunday Post - Goodbye January

Merry Sunday;

I know 'Merry Sunday' isn't a thing, but maybe it should be. We all get to Sunday and take a deep breath. It's the end of the week, Monday is ages away (or so we tell ourselves) and it's time to run ourselves a hot bath and take a second to actually relax.

Somebody please tell me it isn't February already? Please?! However happy I am for payday (oh, I am so happy) it doesn't change the fact that January pretty much came and went without even stopping by for a cuppa. I'm pretty sure we say this every month though, don't we?! I'm starting to realise more and more how quickly your life just passes you by. Which is why, at the start of 2014, I made one promise to myself. Say yes.

Last year was shite. I'm sorry for the awful language (or maybe I'm not) but it really was. So I told myself in December last year that I would do every little possible thing to make this year amazing. In 2013 I probably went on 3 or 4 nights out? I said no to everything my friends asked me, I said no to everything my family asked me, I let my boyfriend go on countless weekends with other people because I was happier sitting alone in the house. I stayed in every weekend and sat in front of the TV being morbid for no damn reason other than the fact I'm a miserable bugger.

So, it pleases me greatly to share the fact with you guys, that 2014 has already been and is already looking to be my best year. This month alone, I've had 3 nights out (with NO hangovers?! what's going on?) I've been on girly meals out, I've spent time with my family and I have booked and planned a HELL of a lot of things for the coming months. As well as all these beautiful plans, I have some major life decisions and life.. Steps, shall we say that are coming up. I am both excited and totally and utterly nervous about these but either way, I cannot wait to tackle them head on.

Breakfast treat after good grades | Night out | Naps with the nephew
Walks at Uni | Sisterly love | Walks at Uni
Nail treats | God-daughter | Nights with the bestie

For those of you who have read my more depressive posts and for those of you who actually give a damn; I feel like a totally different girl. I'm positive, I'm motivated and I'm making the best of the life I've been given.

Goodbye January, Hello February

Morning cookies;

This is going to be a regular blog feature because I thought it would be nice to give you mini life updates every now and again!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Reading // Matched by Ally Condie - it's taking me ages to read this because I feel like it's written for really young teenagers and I like a book that you have to think about. However, the story-line is different. It reminds me of Hunger Games, where society is completely different to how it is now and every decision is pretty much made for you. I'm looking forward to seeing how this ends.

Listening to // The Summer Set - This is one of my favourite bands and I have played and played and played their 'Legendary' album. I saw these when they supported Mayday Parade last year and since then I've been hooked. I'm seeing this at the Hit The Deck festival at Rock City in April which I'm too excited about!

Thinking about // Should I jump onto the 3rd year of the Animal Biology degree or finish this year and get a full time job? This is literally all I think about the moment. I have a huge decision to make in the next couple of months, which is going to affect the rest of my life. I'm tired of education, I want to get out there and get myself a job and some experience, but at the same time a full Honours degree could eventually get me an even better job. Arghhhhh! Life is tough.

Loving // Nandos - I'm not sure what my current obsession with Nandos is at the moment but I went so much throughout January. Which is funny because 1) I'm not a massive chicken fan and 2) I don't like spicy food. Hmm.

Watching // Desperate Housewives - I sat and downloaded every season of Desperate Housewives on Sky the other week and have sat and watched about 3 episodes a night. Safe to say, Bear is sick of it. I'm just at the end of Season 3 (I think?) and I'm not joking, I cry at every episode. It turns me into an emotion wreck. Anyone else get this? No? Just me then.

Looking forward to // London - This month, eeeeepppppp, I'm going to London with Bear over Valentines weekend :) Our plans are a bit of shopping, Harry Potter Studio Tour and London Zoo. I'm way too excited. I've only been to London once and I adored it. It's such a big place that you can spend days getting lost in it but never being bored!

What are your currents? :)
